How scoring works

Everything that decides a coin is computed on our server, never in your browser.

Sudoku

Solving a daily board pays coins by difficulty: easy 5, medium 10, hard 20. Practice boards are free to play and pay nothing, so you can learn a technique without burning your daily allowance.

Difficulty is not "how many numbers are filled in". When a board is generated we measure how much backtracking a solver needs to finish it, and only accept it if it lands in the right range — a 55-step board and a 3,220-step board are not the same puzzle, even if both are labelled hard.

2048

Coins follow the highest tile you reach: 128 → 5, 256 → 8, 512 → 12, 1024 → 16, 2048 → 20. Merge higher and you still get 20 — the cap is deliberate, so a lucky run cannot out-earn a day's play.

The daily cap

You can earn up to 25 coins a day. Once you hit the cap, games still play and still count, but they pay nothing until tomorrow (midnight, Philippine time). The cap keeps the game honest for everyone: it removes any reason to automate play.

Why the server decides

A sudoku solution is checked against the solution stored with the board. A 2048 game is checked by replaying your moves from the seed we dealt — every new tile comes from that seed, so the server can reproduce your exact board and score. If the replay does not agree with what your page shows, nothing is awarded.

The practical consequence: editing the page, the score, or the board changes nothing. Only moves are accepted, and only a move log that the server can reproduce pays out.

What coins are not

Coins are a game reward. They are not money, they cannot be transferred to another player, and they cannot be cashed out. Boosters and cosmetics that spend them arrive in a later release.
